This Wednesday, July 8th is our last B meet and it will be held at Somerset. Please make sure to RSVP.

Parking:

Parking in the pool parking lot is reserved for Carderock swimmers. Overflow parking is available on the residential side streets but please be mindful to not block any driveways. 

Warm-ups will begin at 5:20.

At 5:30 p.m., we will be looking for the following volunteers from our team:

1 Starter
2 Stroke and Turn Judges
1 Assistant Clerk of Course
1 Assistant Head Timer
9 Timers
1 Automation Assistant
1 Runner (just to collect DQ slips)
1 or 2 Ribbon Writer(s)

Food: Timber Pizza will be on site along with Clayboys Shaved Ice. Somerset will also have snacks and drinks available for purchase through its concessions table (cash & Venmo only). Separately, water, fruit, and snacks will be provided for the volunteers.

Hot Heats: We plan to increase the excitement with some random Hot Heats where the winner of that specific heat will get a prize.

Accommodations: Please let us know if you have any swimmers who need accommodations.

Additional Information: We plan to take a break half-way through the meet. We do not assign team lanes for B meets but rather seed the heats by time. This way the fastest swimmers, regardless of team, swim together. We plan to DQ swimmers who don't swim legally.  If we can't get the meet underway by 6:30, then we will gather coaches and reps and decide to either cancel the meet or eliminate events.
