6/13 A-meet in Poolesville
**deadline to mark your swimmer’s availability is today at 5PM**
Patrick will send the line-up and you will need to confirm with coaches that your swimmer is attending.

Logistics
There is plenty of parking available at this pool but is a 45 minute drive from Carderock. *Note* there is a speed camera as you enter town and several crosswalks with heavy pedestrian traffic.  

Want Fewer Swim Team Emails
Sign up to help we will not email so often. In order to run a meet, parents will need to participate in 75% of the meets your swimmer attends. You are welcome to split a shift with someone but we are always going to need to fill these roles. What are these roles??  Timers- requires using a stopwatch or writing down the time. Clerks- Line up kids (per the meet program) ahead of their event so they swim in the right lane at the right time. Awards- put the printed out stickers on ribbons for our kids and make sure they get back to the clubhouse award box. Officials- If you like rules and white collared shirts- talk to me ASAP about how to be an official. Also- for away meets we usually need a cooler of ice from the clubhouse, and the canopies so we all don't melt. 

Meet Schedule for SATURDAY at Poolesville

• Cudas Arrive by 8AM, check in with coaches
• Team Warm-Ups: 8:20–8:40 AM
• Stroke & Turn Officials Meeting: 8:20 AM
• Timers Meeting: 8:30 AM
• National Anthem: 8:57 AM
• Meet Start: 9:00 AM sharp
• Poolesville will recognize four seniors at halftime so let’s remember to be respectful.

Concessions

Poolesville will offer a variety of breakfast and snack options- cash and Venmo.

Team Area

Cudas will convene to the right in a large grassy space with a picnic table. Poolesville recommends that we **bring chairs**. If you can transport the canopies (pick them up Friday from the clubhouse) and bring them to the meet on Saturday AM please sign up for this important and shade providing role.
